The Authie valley is named after the river that shaped it. It crosses into two administrative areas: Nord Pas-de-Calais and Picardy; and into two French departments: Pas-de-Calais and the Somme. It includes several natural areas: The Pays de Montreuil and Pays de Ternois in the north and Pays de Ponthieu and Pays d'Amiénois in the south. 157 communes are established here.
The CPIE Val d'Authie offers you several relaxing holiday options in particularly well-preserved natural areas and sites, in the form of sporting activities and excursions that allow you to explore the rich and varied, natural and cultural heritage of the Authie valley.
Discovery activities: ponds, the water cycle, physical and biological aspects of waterways, reading the landscape and the forest, exploring the Authie valley, traditional games from Picardy, basketwork and more.
Nature activities: canoeing/kayaking, bicycle touring/MTB, orientation courses, walking and hiking, fishing, and more, ...
During the summer period, the CPIE organises public, "à la carte" activities and green workshops for young people on Wednesday afternoons.
You can download the educational project on the website www.cpie-authie.org.
